Safety Tips:

  1. Always be sure to put plenty of sunscreen on even if the sun is not intense. BE SURE NOT TO PUT SUNSCREEN ON YOUR FORHEAD, IT WILL DRIP INTO YOUR EYES!!!

  2. Always wear shoes at camp and on the river.

  3. Never lift up rocks or logs because that's where rattlesnakes like to hide.

  4. Watch for poison oak. If you don't know for sure what it looks like, just try not to get into too much brush.

  5. If you decide to swim, ask the guides which areas are OK because the river can get very strong and swift.

  6. Always wear a life jacket when swimming or wading in the river.
